Hi my baby -
Right now you are cuddled up on my chest taking a nap and talking in your sleep. Yet another proof that you are your daddy's girl! :) You are two months old today and I am even more in love with you today than the day you were born - and I didn't believe that was possible.
This month has been so fun as more personality has come out. You have started to sleep less, and love waking up in the morning. Every morning when you want me to get up with you, you are so happy and all smiles. Once I am up, you just stare at the curtain where a little sun is shining through. Once your daddy or I open the curtains you get so excited for the sunshine.
You are learning to stay with your daddy while mom makes dinner or does laundry. You like to bounce on his knee or be lifted up in the air. You make this tiny adorable exhale every time he brings you back down from lifting you above his head.
You're more chatty every day. You really like to socialize. You also can manage to sleep anywhere no matter how noisy it is, it seems. You also get really excited whenever we get your clothes off to change you. You appear to like to be a naked baby.
I read you "Love You Forever" yesterday for the first time. I ended up bawling. Kind of pathetic, I know. You really like to be sung to every day or you get really bored. Your favorite is old McDonald, it seems. You get a big smile when I say "woof" for the dog.
I think primary songs to you every day and you seem to like "Nephi's courage" the best. Your cheeks are nice and full like mine were when I was a baby. I am starting to see what people mean when they say that you look like me. Just a little bit. I think you have your daddy's lips. They're very pretty, and everyone comments on them. You also are getting long lashes that look like they could be your daddy's as well. I sure hope so! If you get mine you have no hope! :-)
We are getting ready to move to another apartment next month. That should be quite the adventure. Packing and moving with a little baby should be interesting. However this apartment is really cold and we don't want our baby freezing anymore. The new apartment also has a garage, so that's a bonus. We won't have an ice cold car for you to get into if we forget to warm it up.
I can't believe how much bigger you gotten just over this last month! It's unbelievable. Your eyes are as blue as I ever though and you're just getting prettier every day. I'm so glad that I get to call you mine.
This month's been so much fun and it makes me so excited to see the things that you learn and do over the next month. You don't look like my teeny newborn anymore. You are a regular old baby. And by regular I mean extremely gorgeous!
Happy two month birthday sweetheart!
Love,
Mom
