You are seven weeks old in two days. The picture is from Easter. You looked so pretty! You are becoming more aware of things going on around you, and much more social. You are making lots of fun sounds and smiling more purposefully. You hold your head up like a champ and have such strong muscles in your back.
You got another adjustment a few days ago, and there is a part where Dr. Kanady hold you upside down. You LOVED that. Your eyes were wide and you had the most excited expression.
We are looking at moving to another apartment where you will be warmer. Your little chin chatters (or would if you had teeth) and we don't like having a cold baby.
I had started this list for my first post, and have gradually added to it, but I can't post from my phone because it won't let me properly edit right now so I'll post the full list right here.

Watching you smile in your sleep after a feeding
The hiss that you make when you get frustrated with the hiccups or after yawning
The sweet little whine you do while you are sleeping
The way you love to stare at my face
The cute sucking faces you do when you are dreaming about eating
Your amazing dimples
Your tiny baby cry
The tiny puckered up face you do
The way you love to be cuddled
The way you love to bury, cover or hide your face while you sleep
The way you curl up on my chest and go to sleep... While trying to stick your foot in my belly button just like you would do from the inside
The way you hold tight to my fingers while you eat at night
Your schedule - sleep, poop, change the diaper, wake up, eat (and eat and eat and eat), sleep
How healthy you are
How you panic when I lay you down and start swallowing air until you give yourself the hiccups (it doesn't take much
How you want so badly to be awake to be social so you struggle, but can't quite get your eyes open
How deep you sleep once you are swaddled
The sounds you make while nursing
How you fall asleep on my chest after you eat
How you hate being moved out of the fetal position - your arms and legs are always pulled into your body as tight as possible
How you sleep so well
How fast you are growing :(
The way you stare now that you can see things better
Your big blue eyes looking intently and lovingly at me
The whimper and whine every time the car stops (and ends the second the car is going again)
How intently you stare at anything brown
The squeal you made when I opened the curtain one morning
How the only time you get upset is when you need to burp, or make a mess in your diaper... Or I haven't fed you quick enough
Your extremely excited and happy faces
The way you flail about and talk and cover your face in your sleep (you are your daddy's daughter!)
We love you baby girl. You are worth it all. So worth the wait. :)
